What We Do
Flooring Services
in Connecticut
Flooring Materials We Install in Connecticut
Solid hardwood, engineered hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, and tile. Every flooring job starts with the subfloor. We pull the old flooring, check for soft spots, replace rotted plywood, and level the floor flat. Then we install the right underlayment for the material going down. The prep matters more than most homeowners realize.
- Solid and engineered hardwood, LVP, and tile
- Subfloor leveled and prepped before any install
- Heated tile available for bathrooms
Flooring Repair in Connecticut
Flooring repair covers water damage, deep scratches, squeaks, and sections that took serious abuse. Sometimes the fix is a single board replacement. Sometimes the floor is at end of life and replacement makes more sense. We come out, look at the floor, and tell you the truth. No push toward replacement if the repair makes sense.
- Single board replacement and blending
- Hardwood sanding and refinishing
- Squeak repairs and subfloor fixes
Quality in Fairfield County
Connecticut humidity swings hard between summer and winter. Floors have to handle it. Cheap installs ignore acclimation, skip expansion gaps, or use the wrong adhesive. The floor looks fine for a few months and starts failing the first time the seasons change. Quality installs account for the climate from the first measurement.
- Moisture tested before install on every slab
- Proper acclimation time for hardwood
- Room cleaned up at the end of every day

Most rooms take 1 to 2 days for LVP or laminate. Hardwood takes 2 to 3 days plus acclimation time before install. A whole house can take a week. Tile takes longer because grout has to cure between steps. Your estimate has clear timelines.
Most Connecticut towns do not require a permit for flooring replacement. New construction, additions, or major renovations may require permits. We pull permits when towns require them and handle the inspection paperwork.
Luxury vinyl plank or engineered hardwood are the best choices for Connecticut basements. Both handle moisture better than solid hardwood. Tile is also a strong option, especially with radiant heat underneath. Solid hardwood is not recommended below grade.
